A Suitable Method for the Synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine in the Presence of MnFe2O4 Catalyst

Abstract

1,4-dihydropyridines are biologically, medicinally and synthetically important compounds. Considering the importance of the application of dihydropyridine heterocycle compounds in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries and the limitations of the available methods for the synthesis of this group of compounds in chemical sources, this research is based on the synthesis of these compounds from the reactive pathway. Hantzsch's tetrahedral structure using MnFe2O4 nanocatalyst. It has been decided. This reaction produced products in high yield at 40 °C in ethanol solvent. In addition, the magnetic MnFe2O4 nanocatalyst could be easily removed from the reaction system by a magnet, and the catalytic performance was maintained for four reuse cycles.
